About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Site Engineer Intern to join our construction team in Apo, Abuja.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced engineers and project supervisors to support daily site operations, monitor construction activities, and ensure that projects are executed according to approved specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring engineers and early-career professionals to gain practical, hands-on experience in the real estate and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and monitoring daily construction activities on-site.
• Support the Site Engineer in ensuring construction works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor the quality of construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Assist in measuring, setting out, and verifying construction dimensions.
• Prepare daily site reports and document project progress.
• Monitor the use of construction materials, equipment, and labour on-site.
• Identify and report construction challenges, defects, or deviations from approved plans.
• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and health standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, artisans, and other site personnel.
• Perform other site-related duties as assigned by the supervising engineer.

Requirements and Qualifications

• B.Sc. or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Open to fresh graduates, NYSC members, and candidates with 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, building materials, and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is an added advantage.
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be available to work on-site in Apo, Abuja.
